APPLICABLE STANDARD: JC/T 486
Two-part, neutral curing silicone sealant with high modulus and high strength, specially designed for glazing insulating glass. It has the advantage of low air permeability. Sino-bond 992 Insulating Glass Silicone Sealant works with two-part mixing equipment and the two parts react quickly after mingled in scale, then cures to elastomer.
 As a secondary edge adhesive sealant in insulating glass units.
LIMITATIONS:
Not recommended for building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers, or solvents–materials such as impregnated wood, oil-based caulks, green or partially vulcanized rubber gaskets or tapes. Not recommended for use in totally confined spaces as the sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure. Not recommended for continuous water immersion applications. Not recommended for use on frost-laden or wet surfaces. Not recommended for places where painting of the sealant is required, as the paint film may crack and peel. Do not apply at temperatures below 4°C or above 40°C.
