APPLICABLE STANDARDS: ASTM C920, GB／T23261
One part, neutral curing silicone sealant with excellent non-staining adhesion to all types of marble and granite, specially developed for weather sealing in all types of stone glazing and stone curtain wall joints. Sino-bond 898 is extruded from tube with sealant gun when used, and it absorbs the moisture in the air, and then cures to elastomer capable of maintaining a seal effectively.

Weather sealing for stone curtain wall joints and precast slab joints; Adhesion and sealing in expansion joints for ceramic engineering; Joint sealing between stone and other materials like glass, metal, plastics, etc.
LIMITATIONS:
Do not use for structural glazing. Not recommended for building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers, or solvents–materials such as impregnated wood, oil-based caulks, green or partially vulcanized rubber gaskets or tapes. Not recommended for use in totally confined spaces as the sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure. Not recommended for continuous water immersion applications. Not recommended for use on frost-laden or wet surfaces. Not recommended for places where painting of the sealant is required, as the paint film may crack and peel. Do not apply at temperatures below 4°C or above 40°C.
